The Ladies of tomorrow atop at 2019 Valentines Juniors

Jayda and Tamu make it an all girls affair with first place finishes in Valentines Challenge

Jayda Browne and Tamu Jibben finished in first place in the 12s and 10s categories respectively in this years Valentines Challenge Tournament. khalil Burroughs and Jermaine Powell were the second place finishers in both categories.

On the last day of competition, the Jayda beat Khalil 6-3, 6-0 taking the match in straight sets. On Friday Tamu was successful taking her first title with a straight win over Jermaine.

The Competition was the first that saw the Young Ladies at top. Consistent ground strokes, a will to win and their ability to keep the ball in play, were the key success factors that lead to both ladies coming out on top. Jayda continues to mature nicely since her first appearance in the Tri-Nation Tournament held in Oct 2018.
